The institution for development of competence, innovation and specialisation of Zadar County INOVAcija, held a Creative Dialogue on Wednesday, 10 December 2025, as part of the IN4BLUE project. The event gathered key stakeholders connected to the blue economy of Zadar County who are interested in strengthening cooperation and developing concrete initiatives within the project.
The goal of the Creative Dialogue was to jointly explore the needs, ideas, and challenges of the blue economy in Zadar County and to identify topics that can serve as a foundation for further project activities. Participants actively exchanged experiences and proposed directions for strengthening regional development.
During the dialogue, key challenges faced by the public sector and businesses in addressing regional issues were identified. Participants also proposed potential solutions, emphasizing strengthened cooperation between institutions and companies, as well as the development of sustainable solutions that bring long-term benefits to the local community.
The collected proposals will be analyzed, systematized, and included in the planning of further IN4BLUE project activities. In this way, participants made a valuable contribution to defining shared challenges and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
The IN4BLUE Creative Dialogue workshop represents an important step toward fostering innovation, sustainability, and cross-sector collaboration in the blue economy of Zadar County. Its results will serve as a strong foundation for future activities aimed at boosting regional growth and strengthening entrepreneurial competencies.
The IN4BLUE project is funded through the Interreg Italy–Croatia 2021–2027 Programme and focuses on sustainable blue growth by enhancing entrepreneurial skills and promoting innovative stakeholder collaboration in the blue economy. The total project budget amounts to EUR 1,390,779.00, of which EUR 183,000.00 is allocated to the INOVAcija Institution. The project runs from 1 March 2024 to 31 August 2026.
