Zadar County has identified the creative industry sector as having significant development potential in its strategic documents. This is the sector in which lack of space, equipment, and specialized education was recognized, which is why INOVAcija initiated the preparation of the project for constructing and equipping the Center for Creative Industries.

The overall goal of the Center for Creative Industries project, successfully completed in 2021, was to establish a specialized business incubator for the creative industry, with a focus on the audiovisual and IT industries, to enhance the competitiveness of this economic sector and increase employment.

The Center for Creative Industries provides a modern infrastructure covering 1,560 m², consisting of: 7 offices for entrepreneurs, 3 meeting/training rooms, one of which is equipped with computers (IT classroom),a multifunctional hall with 140 seats, a video editing room, a sound studio, a recording room ("silent room"), a café bar.

In addition to these functional spaces for users, the facility includes offices for the INOVAcija Institution, an exhibition area and other amenities that enhance the Center’s functionality.

The Center hosts one entrepreneurial support institution (the INOVAcija Institution) which manages the Center and provides services to its users (both resident and external users).

Furthermore, based on a Cooperation Agreement between the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation, and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO) and Zadar County, a HAMAG-BICRO office has been opened in the Center. The purpose of establishing the HAMAG-BICRO branch in Zadar is to provide comprehensive services to entrepreneurs, from idea development to implementation and market entry.
