INOVAcija

Organized by The Institution for the Development of Competences, Innovation and Specialization of Zadar County INOVAcija, a two-day Co-creation Workshop was held at the Centre for Creative Industries as part of the IN4BLUE project. The workshop brought together key stakeholders connected to the blue economy, as well as participants of the local mentoring program, with the aim of jointly designing innovative solutions to previously identified challenges in the blue economy of Zadar County.

The co-creation workshop built on the previously held Creative Dialogue and was conducted as a structured collaborative process based on the principles of design sprint methodology. Over the course of two days, participants, with the support of moderators and a business mentor, worked on idea development, problem definition, concept design, and the creation of initial solution prototypes.

Through an intensive exchange of knowledge, experience, and diverse perspectives, two conceptual innovative solutions were developed, with a particular emphasis on their feasibility, applicability in the local context, and potential for further development and implementation.

The results of the workshop represent an important step in the continued implementation of the project and will serve as the foundation for the next phase - the joint business model development workshop during which the innovative solutions will be further developed into sustainable business concepts with the support of local and cross-border mentors.

The IN4BLUE project is implemented within the Interreg Italy - Croatia 2021–2027 programme, with the aim of strengthening entrepreneurial skills and promoting innovative, sustainable, and cross-sectoral cooperation in the field of the blue economy. Through these activities, INOVAcija actively contributes to the development of the regional innovation ecosystem and the creation of long-term benefits for the local community.
