The institution for development of competences, innovation and specialisation of Zadar County – INOVAcija, in cooperation with the project partner, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region (FVG AR) from Trieste, is organising a hybrid event entitled: “Making Sustainability Visible – Enhancing the Sustainability and Visibility of Blue Economy Practices”, within the framework of the IN4BLUE project, funded by the Interreg Italy–Croatia 2021–2027 Programme. The event aims to strengthen the understanding of the strategic role of sustainability and communication in Blue Economy sectors.
The online workshop is open to all interested participants, including public authorities, small and medium-sized enterprises, organisations and other relevant stakeholders. The content is designed to provide general, non-company-specific information, ensuring transparency and equal access to knowledge through a participatory and collaborative approach.
The event is conceived as a collaborative initiative among stakeholders from various sectors, with the objective of strengthening communication capacities in the field of sustainable business and the Blue Economy. The focus will be on the exchange of knowledge and experience related to effective communication strategies for increasing the visibility of sustainable practices, with particular emphasis on the Blue Economy, cultural and creative industries, and tourism. The event contributes to the objectives of the IN4BLUE project (which supports the green and digital transition in the Adriatic region by strengthening skills and capacities, enhancing cross-border cooperation, and promoting innovation in Blue Economy sectors) by linking sustainability and communication approaches, visibility strategies, and practical examples relevant to public authorities, SMEs and other stakeholders.
The event will take place on 26 February 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Creative Industries Centre, organised by the INOVAcija.
Participants will receive materials in English, developed through cross-border cooperation.
